Dell Laptop Bluescreen

So I get my sisters Dell laptop tonight and she tells me that it is really slow and when she logs in the screen goes black. I think virus or some crap from her kids so no problem. (What the heck was I thinking)

I start it up and sure enough, exactly what she said. Safe mode! Well now it stops at classpnp.sys. Hmm.. bad hardware or corrupt HD? Lets do some hardware tests... Dell has these utilities built in so I let it run and it reboots the computer at about 55% through the memory test. Ok, bad memory stick. I take out one stick and it does the same thing so lets swap them and YAY the memory test finishes! So who cares if it only has 2GB ram at least she will have her laptop back. power it back up and the same issue after login. (Darn it, there I go assuming again) Well lets run that test again... Now I get a bad HD error on the test (weird). Lets reseat the HD and still nothing.

Lets get the Hirens boot CD out! Now I get a blue screen "0x7b" inaccessible boot device. Well that is weird since i'm booting to a CD. Let me pull the HD out and put it in my desktop to run a check disk while i putz with this booting issue.

Man is this check disk going SLOW. Maybe it's a bad HD? Totally possible but lets make sure this memory is still good. Boot to the CD again (with no HD mind you) and I get the same blue screen! WTF?

Screw this crap, she bought this last summer before school so I'm going to have her call in for warranty. DAMN IT! The warranty expired 3 DAYS AGO and she has been having issues ALL SUMMER!

Oh yea, this repair (along with every other one for family) is on the house.

So I'm here now... Asking... no PLEADING for some help. :) I'm guessing bad HD controller or motherboard but hey i guess it could be anything. :) Maybe someone from Dell could get me some "extended" warranty help here and fix the darn thing so I don't have to. :)
