Hello Community,
My current setup has a main office, where all the servers are, and two remote offices. The remote offices only have one server which acts as both a domain controller and a print server. The main office houses all other servers.
The remote offices are connected via direct 10MB fiber link.
The remote offices are plugged directly into my firewall (Watchguard XTM5) that does all the routing.
I would like to get the firewall out of the picture and directly connect the remote offices to the main office switch stack. As of now the remote offices are on separate 192.168.X.X/24 subnets and the main office is on a 10.1.x.x/16 subnet.
I would like to keep the subnets the same if possible and I need for all offices to see everything on all other offices. I have been attempting to use VLANs for this but I am not able to pass traffic between the VLANS.
This is a Layer 3 switch also, is it possible to use this as a router of sorts instead of using straight VLANS?
Thanks in Advance.
