I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced similar issues, or if it's just me..
We have a Dell Account Manager and a Dell Business Account - it was setup a few years ago when Dell undercuta Dellreseller to get our business buying several workstations (several thousand worth) - since then, we have generally dealt with Dell direct (sort of makes sense buying direct from the manufacturer - or so we thought).
So, it started off well - they were offering us the lowest prices we could get - then a few months ago, I asked for some quotes on a small qty of desktop PC's (OptiPlex, in qty's of 2 or 3) - I got the spec I wanted from the Dell website then fired an email to our account manager asking for a quote, expecting a slight discount.
The quote we had returned was more expensive than buying as a regular consumer from the Dell website?!
