I've recently had about 8 Optiplex computers die because of bad capacitors. This represents about 10% of our inventory and leaves those staff with no computer to use. These were all purchased as refurbished units from Dell Financial Services and have no warranty and we don't have the budget to replace all of those at one time. Are they worth trying to fix or have I just gained a batch of spare parts? I've seen sites that walk you through replacing the bad caps but I don't have any experience in that. What are your suggestions and thanks in advance!
