I have an R410 with an H700 controller for use as a VM Host.
Most boot sequences will end with the message that it can't find an OS to boot to.
I want to boot from the OS I have installed on a USB stick, and have installed in one of the internal USB slots.
Sometimes when I go into System Settings and select the Boot options it will provide five choices, including one for the USB where I can leave it at AUTO or set it to HARD DRIVE manually. I set it to HDD manually and ESC out.
Then, I go to the Hard Drive Sequence selection and move the USB up, so it will be seen as the first HDD.
Then I set the Boot Sequence to CD/DVD, HDD
Exit out, save settings, reboot.
It can't find the OS.
Select F2 again, but now under Boot Options there are only three choices, and when I look at the Boot Options/ Boot Sequence it shows the HDD from the RAID10 array as...
