I asked in a previous post if I should go with Raid 5 or 10 and I did some digging about our current setup and I wanted to know If I could add another Raid Group to my current running system
Back story - Running out of space, would like a performance boost for our Hyper-V host.
Current setup -
- Raid 1 - DiskGroup 0 - 136GB - OS Drive
- Raid 5 - DiskGroup 1 - 6TB - Data drive / VM housing
We have about ~500GB of free space between two partitions on the data drive. I have ordered 10 more 600GB drives to fill the rest of the chasis. With the H710P raid card could I add in a raid 10 along side the two already existing disk groups?
