I have a 9TB array in RAID 10 setup on a Dell R510 server in UEFI mode. I have created a VM with 4TB disk space. However, after Windows Server is installed, it takes up 2TB of space not the entire 4TB. If I try to extend the space in disk management, it complains about the disk being in MBR and has to be converted to GPT. I was under the impression that when the server is set in UEFI mode the disks would be partitioned to GPT not MBR. But that does not seem to be the case.
Can someone please guide/advise me on what I need to do so I can use GPT during Windows installation.
