I have a Dell EqualLogic PS6100 with 24 1TB SAS drives. When I calculate out a RAID 6 with a hot spare, it should be around 19.5TB of usable space. The SAN is only allocating ~16.5TB, much less than it should be. I am wondering if anyone else is seeing this, and if there is a better way. I've looked around and not found anything in relation to a size limitation for the pool, only a software limit for the LUNs, which has been resolved in newer versions. I Reset the device this morning and am seeing the same limitation when I use the Group Manager Utility. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
