We currently have a Dell R720 server with a Perc H710 mini RAID controller. The server is setup in a RAID-5 configuration with 4 136GB drives.
The issue here is that I only have access to 272 gigs of storage space. From my understanding on a RAID 5 configuration I should have access to 3 of the 4 drives for storage while one is used as a hot spare. What could be causing this? I have looked at the virtual disk in OMSA and it is showing 3 physical disks assigned to the virtual disk, but only 272GB of available space. Any help is appreciated.
