Buying through a reseller...warranty support

Hey all,

So while I'm still looking at getting a new Dell server, I decided to ask a local vendor I work with who also sells Dell products for pricing. I am not sure of the language Dell uses to describe them (reseller, partner?). Anyway, I'm wondering if we buy through a reseller, is there any difference from buying direct from Dell in terms of support and warranty? I buy the ProSupport with 4-hour response time for servers. If I had an issue with the server, do I still call Dell directly for support or do I have to work through the reseller?

Would just like to make sure I understand correctly since I have always bought directly from Dell before.
