We recently moved our servers to a different rack (about 100 feet away from our switches). The two switches are connected via a LAG. The switch in the switching rack is a 3248P, the switch in the server rack is a 6248P.
After reconfiguring, all the servers were moved. All of them are working (able to ping both switches, as well as the router (Sonicwall NSA2400).
1 Dell R710 server is giving me an issue. All 4 NICs are connected, when i try to ping it, roughly 50% of the time i get "Request Timed Out", the rest of the packets come through with a <1ms response.
Any ideas what is causing this issue? I tried switching the NIC cables around that did not resolve the problem, tried rebooting as well. I also flushed all the ARP tables thinking that was the issue. This server worked fine in the original rack.
