We recently purchased 18 Dell Latitude E5500 Windows 7 64 bit. Most downloads over 10 mg are choking and cannot be completed. Additionally when users try and load YouTube training videos they start caching immeditaly then halt at about 15%. We are also seeing this somewhat on E6250s running Windows 7 64 bit. We are using Sonicwall 3060Pro firewalls.
BTW we have 4 ISPs running BGP they are 5 MB / 15 MB and two T1s. Bandwidth should not be an issue here. Windows 2008 AD Domain.
It is interesting that the Windows XP users do not see this. I am I missing a setting in on the Laptops or in Sonicwall? Dell support does not seem to think it is their issue. I recently posted this on the Sonicwall board but I did not get much response.
