Hello there, I'm setting up a lab with VMWare ESXi 5.1 and an Equallogic 6100. I plan on using Veeam to back it up. I've asked Dell this question but I'm not 100% sure that I asked it in such a way I received good information.
Veeam creates checkpoints or snapshots of the VMs then backs those up. Is it using the "snapshot reserve" space for that? Or is it using available space elsewhere? Or better yet, if I set my snapshot reserve to 0%, what would happen when Veeam attempted to run a backup job?
