Hello,
My Dell PE2950 showing error on it's front display WD1228 Romb Batt , it started showing this error from yesterday. I have googled it and found this error is about Bad battery of RAID Card. Do I need to replace this battery immediately or there could also be another reason to throw this error?
I also have read that Firmware/Driver Version of PERC 5/i is also responsible for battery status and it should also be updated. In OMSA it also show outdated version of firmaware. If this is could be the reason then how can i safely update firmware version? I need your help from you experts so i can fix these two issues safely. Since it is file server in running environment.
